Reviews
We were very disappointed by this restaurant. We had travelled all the way from Martina Franca for this restaurant which is in the Michelin guide and had been recommended to us.
It's quite a large restaurant but you have to book as there were no free tables for people trying to get in.
It's a lovely restaurant too. But the food was very disappointing. We had four courses. The first course was a selection of starters which looked good but were quite bland. We also had the charcuterie board with three meats. They were OK but nothing special. We then had a snail pasta. There were very few snails and again, it was bland. This was followed by a sheep stew which had been recommended by the waitress. It tasted like a regular beef stew and was unremarkable. The sheep was tender but full of small bones so was unpleasant to eat.
We were also served a side salad which was very dull, dry and bland. Just a bit of lettuce and carrots.
This, with a bottle of water, was 75 euros, which is fairly pricey.
Their response will just be an insult, as they do with all critical reviews. Very unprofessional.
Nice food experience with traditional Pugliese food. No sea food/fish options at all and all vegetarian options are carbs mainly though. But everything tasted yummy. The wine was good . Not super child friendly so save this for a romantic couple dinner or adults only dinner.
Very good, original and tasteful food. The people are very friendly with high service!
Great little find! Tasty food, lovely atmosphere, super friendly and welcoming staff. Fair prices for a type of restaurant like Cibus! Recommended!
We were here five years ago and have been wanting to come back since. We sat inside this time as it was raining but the outdoor area is a great romantic spot when the weather is good. The dishes were as good as we’ve remembered and so was the wine. The service was warm and lovely.
Excellent dishes: simple, authentic, delicious. Lovely selection of local wines.
Best meal we had in Puglia! Also, they have an amazing wine selection
Tucked away in an idyllic alley, the service is warm, knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. We had the mix appetizers and the cold cuts as well as two pasta dishes. The cold orecchiette was absolutely great. Also a couple of good beers on the menu. Prices are appropriate and not too expensive given the quality of the dishes. Found it on Osterie d’Italia guide
